Sasha and His Granddaddy from Texas

While Mom and I were out visiting with the FABULOUS Gardenias, my father had ample time to continue developing his relationship with Sasha. As you might imagine, there are many amazing things to see and do in Cat Spring, Texas when you're 19 months old.

When we drove up, we saw Sasha and Dad playing in the front yard. They were having BIG fun investigating the yard.

The photos tell the story of a little boy having the time of his life with his granddaddy. The pictures include wondering on the property, playing with L.C. (mom says it stands for 'lost cat' but if you've seen his heated bed on the back porch you'd agree that it must stand for 'lucky cat'), investigating the wind chimes given to my folks from my great aunt Ann, talking to Dexter the Boxer, and riding on the gate. (Note: my father would NEVER have allowed me to ride of the gate at any age. Ah, it's good to be the grandson ;)

Additional Note: Sasha is looking forward to spending the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa C. in a couple of weeks. I'm sure he will try to impress them with his imitation of a Texas cow. He says, "OOoooohh" (apparently Texas cows don't have a "M" on the front of their call).
