The Adventures of Three Boys and A Canoe
We have been talking about
our canoe for weeks with Sasha. We figured that he would have a great time on a canoe adventure with Uncle Brent and Daddy. Each day as we enter the garage, Sasha talks fondly about the canoe
that hangs from our garage ceiling and how he, Daddy and Uncle Brent are going to go canoeing (which comes out 'nooing so I'm often times wondering if we're talking about Big Noo or Little Noo then I finally get it :). Well .. yesterday was the big day.
They all loaded up my car to take off for their three hour tour. There was a severe thunderstorm warning but they're Eagle Scouts so a little rain never stops them (and you know that NO water would ever discourage Sasha!).

They had a great time and, not surprisingly, managed to find a cache on an island in the lake they chose for their adventure. The pictures are awesome thanks to Uncle Brent who is far more skilled in photography than either Nathan or I.
The end shots show Sasha's true nature. What do you do while Daddy is getting the car and you're waiting with Uncle Brent? Dive in to the water, of course!

Adorable! He looks right at home in that canoe! Must have been all of those "positive visualizations" he'd used beforehand. What, didn't Mia want to roll around in dirty lake water, too? LOL!
