More Thanksgiving Photos

Sasha's first Thanksgiving dinner included mashed sweet potatoes, green bean casserole and deep fried turkey (you can take the girl out of Texas ...). He loved it! The meal doesn't look quite as fancy on his plastic Thomas the Train plate but he's two so it worked. While most of us choose to use our spoon to load up the food, Sasha prefers to load up his spoon by hand and then put it in his mouth. His spoon skills are weak but you should see him with a fork!

This technique gets further honed as he discovers that he can just as easily put the food directly into his mouth instead of the extra, unnecessary spoon step.

And, nothing tastes as good or is quite as fun as a silver spoon in your mouth.

Once you're totally on a role the only challenge is to remember that you need to chew AND swallow. A chocolate milk chaser really helps get all that turkey down.
And, like every Thanksgiving, eventually the chocolate milk high gives way to the turkey fatigue.
Can't wait to see what he thinks of Christmas!
