Two Visits to Sasha

Today was a very cool day. Babs only brought shorts and I had to remind her that being cool was SO much better than the alternative.

We visited the baby home twice today. Our last session was in the medical ward where he is currently a patient. His skin rash on his face looks a bit worse today and he was sporting red medicine which just made it all seem dire.

This afternoon he was in better spirits than yesterday. We keep joking that he is really a Russian baby as the Russian people seem very serious and rarely smile in normal conversation.

All that is fine but alas, he will be my son after all so we got in some practice. Sasha thought it was so hilarious that Mama would hide behind the door and ask 'where's Sasha?'. He would laugh and push the door open then pull the door back again. He especially thought it was funny that I could tap on the other side and he could see me through the slats. Lots of giggles.

We have decided that he is most certainly a Platt as his love for goldfish was profound. He would jump up and down and laugh at the sight of the goldfish 'contraband' that we brought in. Eventually he figured out that the goldfish live in my bag and would try to do a self serve. He really likes food.
